Last updated: 1 September 2026
Current use
GRID EATER uses the technical mechanisms needed to deliver, secure and diagnose the website. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website use and improve the site. The public site is not currently used by GRID EATER for behavioural advertising.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and process standard online identifiers and usage information. GRID EATER uses aggregate reporting to understand page use, navigation and engagement rather than to publish information about individual visitors.
You can use browser settings, privacy tools and Google-provided controls to restrict or clear analytics cookies and similar storage.
Essential delivery and security
Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request information and use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to deliver pages, protect against abuse, apply rate limits, provide DNS and TLS, and maintain security. These mechanisms are necessary to operate and protect the service.
Privacy
Where cookie, analytics or log information is personal information, GRID EATER handles it in accordance with our Privacy policy and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Future changes
If advertising, additional analytics or materially different tracking technologies are added, this notice and any required choices or consent controls will be reviewed before those features are enabled.
