How GRID EATER handles personal information and directory-related requests.
Overview
This notice explains how GRID EATER handles personal information associated with its website, web services and business directory. It will be reviewed before the commercial public launch.
Information we may collect
We may receive information when you contact us, request an edit, ask a privacy question or provide information for a web-service enquiry. This can include contact details, your relationship to a business, request content and evidence needed to assess a request.
Directory information may also come from approved public or business-provided sources. Some business information can be personal information, particularly where a business is closely connected to an identifiable individual.
Why we use it
We use information to operate services, maintain listings, assess corrections, respond to enquiries, prevent abuse, protect systems, improve data quality and meet legal obligations.
Public listings and automated assistance
The public directory is intended to publish reviewed information rather than raw source material or private operational data. We may use automated or AI-assisted tools to organise edit requests, assess evidence and identify abuse signals. These tools do not give a requester direct control of a listing.
Storage, retention and rights
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. We retain it only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose, security, audit, dispute resolution or correction-history integrity.
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access or correction, subject to applicable law. Contact hello@grideater.com with the subject Privacy Request.
